Chicory is originally a chicory plant and is used as a bitter ingredient in almost every herbal schnapps. It is healthy simply because of the high bitter content and the many healthy minerals and essential vitamins. The bitter substances and inulin accelerate the metabolism and can thus help to stimulate digestion. Salsify Organic Suisse 🇨🇭 A delicacy root makes its appearance in our range. To enjoy even longer nibbling with this spicy, bitter root, we cut it lengthwise and let it dry and stew gently for many days. A true rarity and a true delicacy that begs for more! Inulin can have a positive effect on digestion. The root can be shredded and eaten by every rodent and rabbit to their heart's content.

Salsify and chicory roots contain a lot of water, so 10 grams of roots correspond to around 60 grams of fresh roots. You can break the roots into many small pieces. 100% Swiss
