These seeds can be fed in small quantities from time to time as a change or specifically for minor aches and pains. However, this does not replace going to the vet.
Caraway seed
Real caraway belongs to the umbelliferous family and can have antioxidant, digestive, appetite-stimulating, anti-inflammatory, calming and antispasmodic effects. Can also be offered in small quantities if required.
Do not use over a longer period of time due to the increased amount of essential oils, mix only a little with food.
fennel The colloquial term “fennel seeds” is misleading as they are actually the fruits of the plant. They have an intense and slightly sweet taste reminiscent of licorice and aniseed. Fennel can be used for upset stomachs, intestinal problems and cold symptoms because it can have a positive effect on the immune system.
