Description
Supplementary feed for all rodents and rabbits
👉 Please note the compatibility of the individual varieties👈
Small crunchy cobs (3mm diameter) are a welcome treat. Many chinchillas are fed cobs as their main food. However, we still recommend offering coarse plant parts and hay. Please adjust the amount of cobs to the animal and note that cobs are pressed and dried plant parts, which develop in the stomach and can swell slightly. Never unilaterally offer only one type (if the main food is fed, offer different types). Distinguish from pellets:
- without additives
- without binder
- High fiber content
- Hot pressed without glue
Pellets are often bound with low-quality glue such as molasses or glucose.
Cobs are therefore a light treat with a high proportion of crude fiber and few carbohydrates. A great addition to hay.
When feeding cobs, sufficient water should always be provided.
sorts:
● Echinacea (red coneflower). Please only rarely feed small quantities to hamsters and mice.
● Millet (whole plant), unlimited.
● Dandelion (whole plant), do not feed to bladder problems/blister problems (high calcium content).
